About the Role

We are looking for a Service Engineer to lead advanced troubleshooting, manage critical service escalations, and provide technical support for our EV charging infrastructure across Bengaluru. This role will also play a key part in mentoring field technicians and driving service excellence through effective problem-solving and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to EV chargers, electrical systems, connectivity, and software integrations.
  • Handle critical customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of service-related concerns.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to field technicians during installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support charger commissioning, performance validation, and operational readiness checks.
  • Coordinate with product, engineering, operations, and customer support teams to resolve recurring issues.
  • Train and mentor field technicians on troubleshooting methodologies, service standards, and best practices.
  • Maintain detailed service reports, technical documentation, and escalation records.
  • Monitor service KPIs and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Requirements

  • Diploma / bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 3–6 years of experience in technical support, field service engineering, electrical maintenance, telecom, EV infrastructure, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience handling customer escalations and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to mentor and guide field technicians.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with field visits and travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with EV charging infrastructure, power electronics, IoT devices, or connected systems.
  • Familiarity with charger commissioning, remote diagnostics, and service management tools.
  • Prior experience in managing technical escalations and service operations.
