About the Role
We are looking for a Service Technician to support installation, preventive maintenance, and field service activities for our EV charging infrastructure across Bengaluru. The role is critical in ensuring high charger uptime, quick response to customer requests, and seamless on-ground support.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation and commissioning of EV charging stations at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal charger performance and uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to chargers, electrical systems, and connectivity.
- Respond promptly to service requests and customer escalations.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during deployments.
- Coordinate with internal operations, support teams, and external vendors for issue resolution.
- Maintain service records, installation reports, and maintenance logs.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and operational standards while executing field activities.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in installation, maintenance, field service, electrical systems, telecom, EV charging, or related industries.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues in the field.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable with frequent travel within Bengaluru and nearby locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in EV charging infrastructure, solar, telecom, or electrical equipment servicing.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and field service operations.
